iValley Ghana, a youth-led innovation and entrepreneurship hub based in the Savannah Region, has completed the initial five-week training phase of the Adwumawura Youth Entrepreneurship Programme, implemented in partnership with the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) under the Ministry of Youth Development and Empowerment.
This milestone represents significant progress in the organisation’s mission to equip young people with the skills, tools, and confidence to build sustainable enterprises.

The first phase forms part of a broader six-month entrepreneurship development cycle designed to support beneficiaries from idea development through to real business growth. As the implementing partner for Central Gonja, iValley Ghana facilitated hands-on training sessions focused on business development, innovation, leadership, communication skills, opportunity scanning, and financial literacy.
“Our aim has always been to ensure that young people in Central Gonja are not only trained but truly empowered to build solutions that matter,” said Prince Nabil Mahama, Executive Director, iValley Ghana, speaking on behalf of iValley Ghana. “The enthusiasm we witnessed throughout the five weeks confirms that when young people are given the right support, they rise to the challenge.”
The programme began with comprehensive orientation and onboarding sessions that introduced beneficiaries to the structure, expectations, and opportunities the programme offers. For many, this marked their first exposure to a structured entrepreneurship development pathway, sparking immediate excitement and curiosity.
Throughout the training, beneficiaries demonstrated significant growth in confidence, clarity, and creativity. By the third week, beneficiaries were already taking ownership of their ideas, sharing business concepts with conviction, and applying lessons learned to shape practical solutions for their communities.
